Approved in 2018, law 13.709 – LGPD (General Law for the Protection of Personal Data) entered into force in August 2020.

The purpose of the LGPD is to ensure that all people have their fundamental rights of freedom and privacy safeguarded.

For this to happen, companies and professionals must adopt administrative and technical measures to protect the personal data they use in their activities and business.
